Claude for Financial Services: ten AI analyst agents
The free repo from the reel is Anthropic's own: anthropics/financial-services. It gives Claude ten named agents for finance work (Pitch Agent, Model Builder, Earnings Reviewer, Month-End Closer, GL Reconciler, KYC Screener and more), plus slash commands like /comps, /dcf and /earnings. Every output is a draft for a qualified person to check.
Checked on 19 Oct 2026. Tools change fast, so the official page always wins if it says something different.
What you need first
Step by step
Open the plugin settings
In Claude Cowork open Settings → Plugins → Add plugin.
Paste the repo link
Paste https://github.com/anthropics/financial-services. You'll see the agents and vertical plugins as a marketplace list.
Tip: Prefer a zip? Zip any folder under plugins/ (for example plugins/agent-plugins/pitch-agent/) and upload that instead.
Pick what you need
Start with financial-analysis (the core: comps, DCF, LBO, 3-statement, deck QC, Excel audit and all the connectors), then add only the agents you'll use. A small business will get the most out of Model Builder and Month-End Closer.
Run a command
Type /comps, /dcf, /earnings or /ic-memo, or just describe the task. Skills fire automatically when they're relevant.
Using Claude Code instead?
claude plugin marketplace add anthropics/financial-services, then claude plugin install financial-analysis@claude-for-financial-services and any agent, e.g. claude plugin install pitch-agent@claude-for-financial-services.
Check everything
Treat every model, memo and reconciliation as a first draft. Check the numbers and the sources before anyone relies on them.

The catch
- Not free to run. The repo is free, but Cowork and Claude Code need a paid Claude plan.
- The data feeds cost extra. FactSet, PitchBook, Morningstar, S&P and the rest need your own subscription or API key with that provider. Without them it works on the files you give it.
- Drafts, not decisions. It's built for finance professionals and says it isn't investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. A qualified person has to sign off.
- Starting points. They're reference templates: the more you tune the prompts and templates to how you work, the better they get.
