/brag: turn the app you built into a launch video
The free, open-source skill from the reel. Run it inside your project and it reads your code, picks the best moments, writes a storyboard and renders a short launch video with music, motion and the post copy to share it.
Checked on 20 Oct 2026. Tools change fast, so the official page always wins if it says something different.
What you need first

The catch
- Made for software projects. It reads your code, so it fits apps and websites, not a general business with no code.
- You need Node.js 22+ and FFmpeg first. Without them the render step fails.
- Free skill, plan usage. It runs on your Claude (or other agent) plan, and making a video uses a fair bit of it.
- Landscape by default. Ask for
--format verticalif it's for Reels, TikTok or Shorts. - Check the video before you post it. It writes the copy and picks the moments itself, so read the claims it makes about your product.
