Superpowers: give Claude Code a senior engineer's habits
A free plugin in Anthropic's official plugin marketplace. Instead of jumping straight into code, Claude talks the idea through, writes a plan, builds in small steps, tests as it goes and reviews its own work.

What you need first

Install it
Open Claude Code and paste this. It installs from Anthropic's official marketplace.
/plugin install superpowers@claude-plugins-official
Tip: Use Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI? Superpowers works with other coding agents too. Each one has its own install line in the README.
Ask for what you want to build
Ask as usual. Superpowers changes how Claude works on it.
Talk it through and read the plan
It brainstorms the idea with you first, then writes a plan made of small tasks. Read the plan before it starts building.
Let it build and test in small steps
It builds one small step at a time and tests as it goes: write a test, watch it fail, then make it pass (red, green, refactor).
Check the result
It reviews the code between tasks and does a final check before it says it's done. You still try the result yourself.

The catch
- It's made by Jesse Vincent (Prime Radiant), not by Anthropic. It's listed in Anthropic's official marketplace.
- Tests and reviews help, but don't replace you. Check that the app works before you ship it.
- Claude Code isn't in the free Claude plan. It needs a paid plan such as Pro.
